This sound was recorded as foley for flower plastic wrap, actually used velum to make this crunch. At the end it was crumpled. Recorded by nady tcm 1050 plugged in mbox 2 mini.

Sfx sound made using a reversed saxophone sampled from and old jazz vinyl and an helicopter flying over my house, processed with couple of effects.

Here are the sounds i recorded:- the "loose parts" sounds were a slightly unscrewed valve on a trumpet. - the hydraulic leg-lifting noise was a hatch door opening on a van. - the metal foot hitting the ground was me banging on a metal garage door. - the humming engine noise (it's quiet) was a roll of duct tape spun on a wooden board. - the various other clanks and pops were the same trumpet noises, just edited a bunch. One day while playing the mobile game crossy road, i my sound being used for one of the characters. If you end up using my sound, let me know! i'd love to know what kind of things it's being used in. This is called "three-legged robot walker with loose parts" because it was a foley assignment for my sound design course years ago. This was one of the obscure things the professor gave the class that we had to interoperate and create using only our own recorded/edited foley effects. The class voted on the best one, and mine turned out to be the winner.

This sound is a pitched down recording of a metal knife striking the prongs of a metal fork. I added some reverb and adjusted the eq to make it sound like distant swords striking each other. This was used to simulate the ambient sounds of cutlasses in a pirate battle. In addition to clashing swords, this track could be adjusted to mimic the sounds of a blacksmith working at his anvil or flint and steel in lighting a fire, among other sound effects.

I created this sound by taking two large cobblestone blocks and hit one against the other. Good for sound design. There is a little rattle on some of the heavier hits, it couldn't be helped since the block is so heavy.

I needed a sound fx of a dog scratching itself for a 3d animation, so i did this foley recording. First i tapped a bunch of keys to simulate the tags jingling. Looking at the spectrogram waveform display of https://freesound. Org/people/ivolipa/sounds/344948/ i noticed a few patterns. Distinct bands of high volume at around ~600hz, ~1200hz, ~1800hz, the fade in volume toward higher frequencies, a ubiquitous noise, and the soft staccato rhythm. Using these facts, i tried to make yet another engine sound with fm-synthesis. Sound forge 7 — to my knowledge — lacking a spectrogram, i've no clue if this was a successful attempt, but it does have a vaguely engine-like sound.

A huge ice storm moves in to the back woods of north carolina on 01/30/2014. First it snowed. . . And then it sleeted. When all that sleet froze on the surface of the snow, walking in this winter-wonderland produced an amazing sound. So, i put on my boots, grabbed my zoomh4n and set out to record the magic!. This would be very useful as foley fx for walking in any frozen environment. I walked on various surfaces and depths of ice and snow throughout. Usually it's an annoyance, because they come early, but today i decided to record it. Most of the sounds from this pack were extracted from a recording of me striking said objects with my palm. Because of proximity effect, i found some of these to be useful for the sound of an object hitting the ground.
